Performances in the IPL 2024 opening ceremony
They have provided information about the grand event by sharing the posters of Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam, etc. In the last ceremony, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia, and popular singer Arijit Singh have performed.
Apart from the Bollywood songs, Sonu Nigam and Rahman will enhance the grace of the event with their melodious voices, as per the sources that have confirmed this information to the Hindustan Times. The IPL 2024 opening ceremony will develop enthusiastic vibes among the people. There will be performances by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. This performance will last around 30 minutes. Sonu and Rahman will also present their duo at the ceremony.
The source has also confirmed that there will be an augmented reality technology display, which is also a highlight of the IPL 2024 opening ceremony. The first match will emphasize Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. All the players will experience unification and patriotic feeling as Sonu Nigam and AR Rahman sing the patriotic song in the grandIPL 2024 opening ceremony.
In recent times, Akshay and Tiger have been working together on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film, co-written by Aditya Basu, is going to be released on April 10, 2024.

IPL 2024: Inaugural Match & timings
The IPL 2024 opening ceremony is ready to commerce on 22th march 2024. As per the updates shared by the BCCI through the IPL X social media handle, The IPL 2024 opening ceremony is going to be held at 6.30 PM at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This ceremony will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network, and it will be streamed through the Jio Cinema application.
In the mid-inning break, the popular Swedish DJ and DJ Axwell will perform at the IPL 2024 opening ceremony. The inaugural match of IPL 2024 will be scheduled between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at 8:00 p.m. on March 22. The rest of the matches will be scheduled from 3.30 PM to 7.30 PM as per IST.
